The cleaner body can be uniquely customized for a specific user, the cleaning cavity being substantially complementary in shape only to the corresponding set of teeth of the specific user. Cleaning elements can be arranged non-uniformly in the cleaning cavity to define focus areas corresponding to identified dental problem areas unique to the specific user.
