The method of the first aspect may, for instance, be performed by a user equipment (UE). In a second aspect, this specification describes a method which comprises determining a response to a network slice selection request from a UE based on information included in the network slice selection request that is indicative of a reason for making the network slice selection request. The method of the second aspect may, for instance, be performed by a network control function (e.g. a CCNF).
