The one or more earbuds are additionally able to comprise magnets for removably coupling with each other. In some embodiment, the one or more earbuds are configured to removably couple with a base unit. Based on a coupling and decoupling of the one or more earbuds with the base unit, a signal is sent to control a remotely located electronic device.
