At least one optical sheet is located adjacent to the electronic display layer within a housing. A number of tensioning subassemblies exert tensioning forces on the optical sheet. A first component of each tensioning subassembly is attached to a location along a perimeter of each optical sheet and a second component is connected to the first component and the housing.
