A choke can be configured for limiting maximum flow through an orifice during at least a portion of a valve transition, which can include creating a state of orifice limited flow during the occurrence of armature bounce. A choke can be configured for at least partially reducing cross flow among ports and for limiting a maximum flow rate through at least one flow path of a valve.
