Specifically, the method and network device disclosed herein entail the traversal of mirrored network traffic from datacenters lacking traffic analysis tools to other datacenters including the sought after traffic analysis tools. Further, the aforementioned traversal of mirrored network traffic may utilize virtual network layer overlay domain tunnels.
