The system and processes may include a computerized payment processing system for receiving personally identifiable information from a payment card of a customer provided at a merchant terminal and creating a user account based on the personally identifiable information. A personal identification number (PIN) associated with the user account may be generated and electronically delivered to the customer via an electronic messaging system for verification.
