The collaboration device includes a memory, and at least one processor coupled to the memory. The at least one processor is configured to, when the device detects a person by recognizing a face, generate first text data based on sensing data acquired by sensing the detected person, and contribute the first text data to a specified group in an Social Networking Service. The at least one processor is configured to, when the device has not detected a person by recognizing a face for a predetermined time span, generate second text data indicating that the device has not detected a person for the predetermined time span, and contribute the second text data to the specified group.
