Facing bearing surfaces of the support plate and the storage shelf have respective at least substantially closed circulating running grooves, in which rolling elements are guided. The support plate can be detachably secured to the body of the item of furniture or household appliance. At least one securing region for detachably securing the support plate to the body of the item of furniture or household appliance is formed on the support plate and the storage shelf can be secured to the support plate without the use of tools.
