The glasses-type display apparatus includes an optical engine configured to project light containing an image; a waveguide including an input region for receiving the projected light and an output region for outputting at least a portion of the received light; and a glasses-type body for holding the waveguide and the optical engine where a portion of the optical engine is arranged at a side portion of the waveguide.
