An apparatus and system for an image capture device that captures images utilizing a lens made of a plurality of lenslets that each capture an image. Utilizing information of the lenslets and range of view of the lenslets, the system can modify the image being captured to capture information chosen by a user and ignore other image information. For example, the system can chose a particular distance for object capture, pan/tilt/zoom information, focal length information, depth of field information, or the like.
