The clamping tool comprises a clamping head pivotably coupled to a shaft, and a releasable fastening mechanism. The shaft passes through the jaw and its free end is fastened to the jaw by the fastening mechanism, which is tightened to cause the clamping head to exert a clamping force to hold the jaw liner in place. The clamping tool facilitates safe installation of the jaw liners.
