A pixel area is defined on a side near a second substrate and includes a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged in an array manner. Each of the pixel electrodes includes at most two domains, and each of the domains includes a plurality of pixel electrode branches which are parallel to and spaced from each other, thereby maximizing light transmittance of the LCD device, realizing high light transmittance display, and ensuring the display panel has good viewing angles.
