The image forming apparatus further includes a display control unit configured to cause the touch panel to display an image and a detection unit configured to detect a touch operation performed by a user on the touch panel. In response to the detection unit detecting the touch operation on the touch panel that is displaying an object on the image, the display control unit performs control to hide the object from display.
