One method includes receiving first information from a plurality of user equipments, wherein the first information indicates at least one sidelink user equipment in communication with each user equipment of the plurality of user equipments. The method includes selecting a scheduling user equipment from the plurality of user equipments based on a quality of a first connection interface and a second connection interface of each user equipment of the plurality of user equipments indicated in the first information.
