The aerosol delivery device comprises a control body having a housing, a resonant transmitter located in the control body, a control component configured to drive the resonant transmitter, and an aerosol source member that includes a substrate portion at least a portion of which is configured to be positioned within range of a field emitted by the resonant transmitter. The substrate portion may include a substrate material and one or more separators, the one or more separators may be configured to separate the substrate material into a plurality of separate substrate segments, and the one or more separators may comprise susceptors configured to be heated by the resonant transmitter.
