A support element fixedly connected and/or connectable to the engine and having a ring portion with an outer bearing surface that is arranged concentrically around the crankshaft of the engine. A shelf having an inner bearing surface for surrounding the outer bearing surface of the support element. The shelf forming the link between the chassis and the engine. A rubber bearing arranged between the inner bearing surface of the shelf and the outer bearing surface of the support element. The trunnion mount is characterized in that the rubber bearing is axially press-fitted on the outer bearing surface of the support element.
