A listing conversion estimation and optimization system receives a set of listing data for generating a listing of an item for sale on an online marketplace and determines, based on the set of listing data, a likelihood value indicating the likelihood that the listing will result in a sale within a given time period. The listing conversion estimation and optimization system causes presentation of a graphical indicator representing the likelihood value on the display of the listing user's client device.
