Embodiments of systems, apparatus, and/or methods are described for enhanced situational awareness of parties associated with responding to an incident, such as an emergency situation, by assigning response resources to a scene of the incident. The disclosed system provides an electronic platform for collaboration or partnership involving two or more parties. In some partnership embodiments, the disclosed system provides a ranked list of potentially available resources that can be assigned to respond to the incident. For example, the potential candidates can be mobile emergency units belonging to a first responder and/or its partner(s).
