The method includes determining a position detail profile for the target position based on background details of users currently in a role corresponding to the target position, automatically determining a set of position-detail keywords for a search query to find one or more candidates for the target position, automatically prioritizing the set of position-detail keywords based on at least one of a frequency of occurrence of the keywords in the background details of the users currently to obtain a prioritized set of keywords, executing a search query based on the prioritized set of keywords to obtain a candidate list, determining a compatibility score between candidates in the candidate list, ordering the candidate list based on the compatibility scores of candidates.
