In an embodiment a sound transducer includes a first piezoelectric element having first external electrodes configured to generate an acoustic signal from an electrical signal or vice versa, and at least one second external electrode, wherein the second external electrode is separately controllable from the first external electrodes in order to set electro-acoustic properties of the sound transducer.
