The pixel includes a gate line and a data line on the substrate; a pixel circuit configured to be electrically connected to the gate line and the data line; a light emitting device configured to be electrically connected to the pixel circuit; and a planarization layer configured on the pixel circuit to cover the light emitting device, wherein the light emitting device is surrounded by the planarization layer.
