The inorganic light-emitting elements are provided corresponding to the respective pixels and each have a first side surface and a second side surface opposite to the first side surface. The first light-shielding portion is electrically coupled to the cathode of the corresponding inorganic light-emitting element and prevents output of light traveling in a direction intersecting the first side surface of the inorganic light-emitting element.
