A method of managing analytics data in a telecommunication network is provided. The method includes a consumer Network Function, (NF), determines how analytics data from a plurality of individual sources is collected and analyzed in one of a) a distributed manner from a plurality of Network Data Analytics Functions (NWDAF), b) a centralized manner by aggregating analytics data from the plurality of NWDAFs, before analyzing it at an Aggregator NWDAF, or c) a mixture of a) and b) above.
