An apparatus may determine a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring configuration and a second PDCCH monitoring configuration. The apparatus may use the first PDCCH monitoring configuration to perform PDCCH monitoring. The apparatus may determine whether a switch condition is triggered. The apparatus may switch to the second PDCCH monitoring configuration to perform the PDCCH monitoring in an event that the switch condition is triggered.
