The waist-circumference sections each including an elastic memberstretchable in a lateral direction. The absorbent main body including a pair of extension sections respectively extending outward on two sides of the absorbent body. The extension sections each having an elastic member stretchable in the vertical direction. The extension sections are formed extending laterally outward from a position on a non-skin side of the absorbent body using a continuous sheet that is continuous in the lateral direction. A welded region having a predetermined length in the lateral direction is in a portion where each of the extension sections forms a leg opening.
