In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) can receive a CSI-RS resource including a first CSI-RS port on a first beam from a first cell of a network entity, the CSI-RS resource including a second CSI-RS port of the second cell on a second beam from a second cell of the network entity. In another aspect, a network entity can transmit, on a first beam from a first cell to a UE, a CSI-RS resource including a first CSI-RS port of the first cell, and transmit, on a second beam from a second cell to the UE, the CSI-RS resource including a second CSI-RS port of the second cell.
