The stand includes a receptacle to detachably mount an end of the grip of the dryer and a stand positioner located at the receptacle, the stand positioner cooperating with the dryer positioner when the grip is mounted in the receptacle to align the grip in a predetermined position. At least one of a magnetic force or a physical contact occurs between the dryer positioner and the stand positioner.
