The clothes hanger assembly comprises two arms and is adjustable between a stowage position, in which the arms are stowed, and a functional position, in which the arms form a hanger-like construction. The clothes hanger assembly furthermore comprises a carriage and a cable drive. The arms are articulated to the carriage, and the carriage is arranged on the cable drive, wherein the carriage is shiftable by means of the cable drive in order to adjust the clothes hanger assembly between the stowage position and the functional position.
