The side frame extends obliquely in a frontward and downward direction from a bent portion formed in proximity to the damper housing, and has a rectangular cross-section formed by a U-shaped member having a generally U-shaped cross-section and a lid member disposed on an open side of the U-shaped member. A first bendable portion is formed at a front end portion of the side frame by setting a strength of the lid member lower than a strength of the U-shaped member.
