The methods may include applying a non-thermal plasma and a liquid simultaneously to infected tissue of the patient, the liquid comprising at least one antibiotic and/or antiseptic and a penetration enhancing agent; wherein the non-thermal plasma has a frequency between 200 kHz and 600 kHz.
