The repeater includes: a hybrid butler matrix configured to perform beamforming of a MIMO antenna for transmitting and receiving a base station signal; a hybrid butler matrix configured to perform beamforming of a MIMO antenna for transmitting and receiving a user terminal signal; and a signal processor configured to amplify a signal to be transmitted and received through the hybrid butler matrix. Accordingly, it is easy to manufacture a repeater, heat emission and power consumption can be reduced, and a cost of production can be reduced.
