A barbell rack (1) installable on a wall, comprising:

a first upright (2) and a second upright (3) fixable to the wall and distanced from one another;
a first pole (5) and a second pole (6) respectively associated to the first upright (2) and second upright (3), each of said poles (5, 6) having a plurality of holes (7) adapted to receive a support shelf (8),
means for hinging (9; 10) each pole (5, 6) to the corresponding upright (2, 3) in such a way that each pole (5, 6) is movable between a use position, in which it is at a maximum distance from the corresponding upright (2, 3), and a rest position, in which it is at a minimum distance from the corresponding upright (2, 3).
