Electronic material sleeve for medical devices
Abstract:
An electronic material sleeve has a length and wall thickness and is adapted to fit over a hand-held emergency medication dispensing device via material elasticity, the sleeve including at least a microprocessor and associated circuitry encapsulated within a wall of the electronic sleeve, the microprocessor adapted to support at least one computer aided task and at least one wireless communications technology, the sleeve having at least one encapsulated batter, a partly encapsulated charge port for charging the at least one battery, at least one LED partially encapsulated within a wall of the electronic sleeve, at least one audio speaker partially encapsulated within a wall of the electronic sleeve, and at least one eccentric rotating motor (ERM) adapted to vibrate encapsulated within a wall of the electronic sleeve, the sleeve capable of performing one or more tasks in response to a command signal.
