A server device receives, from a terminal device that has acquired device identification information identifying the information providing device, the device identification information and user identification information identifying a user. The server device transmits information for the user identified by the user identification information to the information providing device identified by the device identification information. The information providing device receives the information for the user. The information providing device provides information based on the information for the user.
