Abstract:
A coil component in which a crack is rarely generated around a coil conductor layer. The coil component includes an element body; and a coil provided in the element body and spirally wound along a first direction. The coil has a plurality of coil conductor layers stacked along the first direction. The element body has a vicinity area located in a vicinity of each of the coil conductor layers, and has a non-vicinity area other than the vicinity area. The vicinity area has a pore area rate less than a pore area rate in at least a part of the non-vicinity area.
