In addition, the binding machine includes a binding unit that twists crossing portions of one end side and the other end side of each of the wires wound around the reinforcing bars. The binding unit further includes a bending portion that bends the one end side and the other end side of each of the wires, which are wound around the reinforcing bars, toward the reinforcing bars.
