The assembly has a housing having a bottom surface that is external-surface-disposable on the member, and a sensor array disposed at least partially in the housing, the sensor array including a first sensor and a second sensor. The first sensor and the second sensor are magnetoresistive sensors. The first sensor is disposed at up to 3 centimeters from the bottom surface of the housing. The second sensor is disposed at between 1 inch and 8 inches from the bottom surface of the housing.
