Each of the plurality of pixels includes a light-emitting element and a pixel circuit configured to control light emission of the light-emitting element. The pixel circuit includes a driving transistor configured to supply electric current to the light-emitting element, and a storage capacitor configured to store voltage to control the electric current to be supplied by the driving transistor to the light-emitting element. The control circuit is configured to determine a statistic of brightness of pixels specified by one or more video frames with a predetermined method, determine a length of a threshold compensation period for which the storage capacitor applies threshold compensation to the driving transistor based on the statistic, and control the pixel circuit based on the threshold compensation period.
