The method of controlling the electronic device according transmitting, to a user terminal, a request to establish a communication connection based on a user command being received; receiving, from the user terminal, location information indicating a location of the user terminal through the communication connection which is established between the electronic device and the user terminal based on the request; identifying one or more applications corresponding to the location from an application list stored in a memory based on the location information; transmitting, to the user terminal, address information indicating web addresses for providing the one or more applications; and receiving, from the user terminal, installation information related to installation of each of the one or more applications.
