The state detection apparatus includes: at least one connection assembly, including a first component and a second component, the first component and the second component being electrically conductively coupled or decoupled correspondingly according to a motion state of the folding screen; and a detection assembly electrically coupled to the connection assembly, and configured to detect a state of electrical conduction connection or disconnection between the first component and the second component and determine a state of the folding screen according to the state of electrical conduction connection or disconnection between the first component and the second component.
