The instructions are executable to query a database of aviation information extracted from one or more aviation information notices for information regarding a status of an airport. One or more query results are received indicating a status of a taxiway of the airport. The one or more query results are used to generate a map of the airport depicting the taxiway with a graphical representation that indicates the status of the taxiway.
