The fishing reel includes a spool having a drum on which a fishing line is wound, and a magnet brake including a holder disposed on a side of the spool and a magnet mounted on the holder in a circumferential direction crossing an axial direction of the spool to have inner and outer facing surfaces and generating a braking force to the spool.
