In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive information associated with indicating a power mode, of a plurality of power modes, wherein the plurality of power modes is associated with a corresponding plurality of values for a power control parameter. The UE may transmit, using the power mode and a transmit power associated with the power mode and determined based at least in part on a power control parameter value, of the plurality of values for the power control parameter.
