The processing circuitry is configured to cause a display to display the Doppler image superposed on the B mode image acquired. In addition, the processing circuitry is configured to change a display mode of the Doppler image displayed on the display using a feature quantity obtained on the basis of at least one of the B mode image and the Doppler image in a time series acquired.
