In one aspect, A augmented reality conversion system includes a computing device including a memory storage device, the memory storage device storing instructions that, when executed by the computing device, cause the computing device to generate and display a furnishing planner, receive inputs to select a furnishing product and one or more customizations for the furnishing product, and generate and display a machine-readable code which when scanned by an augmented reality device allows the augmented reality device to display the selected furnishing product with the one or more customizations in an augmented reality viewer.
