Abstract:
A welding component cooling system for cooling a welding component, in particular a welding torch, includes at least one container for cooling liquid, a cooling circuit with corresponding cooling lines, at least one pump arranged in the cooling circuit for conveying the cooling liquid through the cooling lines in the cooling circuit, at least one heat exchanger arranged in a cooling line, and a device for deionizing the cooling liquid in the cooling circuit. Also a welding component, in particular a welding torch includes such a welding component cooling system. At least one sensor for measuring the conductance of the cooling liquid is arranged in the cooling circuit and is connected to a control device, wherein the control device can be connected to a welding current source connected to the welding component.
