A first placement candidate in which an object in the image capturing range is placed at a first position, and a second placement candidate in which the object in the image capturing range is placed at a second position different from the first position are displayed on the display. In a case where one of the first and the second placement candidates is selected by a user, the image capturing range is controlled based on information of the selected placement candidate.
