The substrate includes a first surface, and the first polymer includes bisphenol-A based polycarbonate. The vehicle trim component also includes an exterior layer including a second polymer. The second polymer includes isosorbide-based polycarbonate. The exterior layer includes an exterior surface, and the exterior layer is laminated to the first surface of the substrate.
