The CHO resource processing method includes: sending, by a source base station of a UE, CHO resource change request indication information to at least one CHO target base station of the UE, where the CHO resource change request indication information is configured for indicating the at least one CHO target base station to change a resource of at least one CHO target cell of the UE; and sending, by the source base station, a CHO resource change notification to the UE, where the CHO resource change notification includes information indicating that the resource of the at least one CHO target cell is changed and an identifier of the at least one CHO target cell.
